Adobe Inc. ( Adobe ) proposes to acquire 100% of the issued share capital of Topaz Labs Inc. ( Topaz Labs ). Adobe is a global technology company that supplies creativity and productivity software and business intelligence services. Adobe supplies image and video generation and editing software, through products such as Firefly, Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro. Topaz Labs supplies artificial intelligence-based photo and video enhancement software. The software has functions such as upscaling, image sharpening, video frame interpolation, denoising and image restoration. The software is typically accessed via desktop applications, cloud and application programming interfaces .
The ACCC has prepared a questionnaire on the Acquisition. Submissions or information in response to the questionnaire should be provided by 21 August 2026 via email to mergers@accc.gov.au with the title Submission re: Adobe – Topaz Labs . The ACCC’s ability to give detailed consideration to submissions received after this time may be limited.
