Precision Poultry Pty Ltd, an investment vehicle established by Roc Partners, proposes to acquire the broiler chicken farming operations of VOAG Pty Ltd and its related entities. This transaction involves coordinated asset and land acquisitions, impacting the broiler chicken growing services industry across Victoria and New South Wales.
Precision Poultry Pty Ltd ( Precision Poultry ) proposes to acquire the broiler chicken farming operations of VOAG Pty Ltd and its related entities ( VOAG ) through coordinated asset and land acquisitions (the Acquisition ). Pursuant to the Acquisition, Precision Poultry will acquire: broiler chicken farming business assets from VOAG Pty Ltd, and the freehold land on which the farming assets are operated from subsidiaries of VOAG 6 Pty Ltd, the head landholder entity of the vendor, being VOAG 1 Pty Ltd, VOAG 2 Pty Ltd, VOAG 3 Pty Ltd, VOAG 4 Pty Ltd and VOAG 5 Pty Ltd. Precision Poultry has been established as an investment vehicle by private equity firm Roc Partners to provide agribusiness investment returns to Roc Partners-controlled or managed entities. Precision Poultry and VOAG both supply broiler chicken growing services. Precision Poultry’s farming operations are located in Victoria. VOAG’s farming operations are located in New South Wales. Both parties supply broiler chicken growing services to separate poultry meat processors in their respective regions. Neither the acquirer or the target entities (or their connected entities) engage in chicken breeding, hatchery operations, feed milling, poultry meat processing, or egg product production.
The ACCC has prepared a questionnaire on the Acquisition. Submissions or information in response to the questionnaire should be provided by 11 June 2026 via email to mergers@accc.gov.au with the title Precision Poultry - VOAG chicken farming operations . The ACCC’s ability to give detailed consideration to submissions received after this time may be limited.
