Service Stream Limited ( Service Stream ), via a wholly owned subsidiary, proposes to acquire all of the issued share capital in RiE Group Pty Ltd ( RiE ). Through its various subsidiaries, Service Stream provides asset lifecycle services, specialising in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of essential infrastructure networks across all States and Territories in Australia. Service Stream’s business is divided into three operating divisions, which are Telecommunications, Transport and Utilities. Service Stream’s Utilities division, which is relevant to the proposed acquisition, provides services to the water, power and industrial sectors, including: design, civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, control engineering and metering services to the water industry operations, maintenance, design and installation services in relation to gas assets distribution and metering services for electricity networks including network maintenance, asset inspection and installation services. RiE is a privately-owned industrial electrical and instrumentation provider established in 2008, based in Queensland’s Western Downs region. RiE offers specialised electrical and instrumentation infrastructure services, equipment rental and labour hire solutions targeted to industrial clients who rely on electrical infrastructure to operate their plant or facilities, such as power generation, renewable energy, oil and gas, and utilities.
