Estia Investments Pty Ltd ( Estia ) proposes to acquire substantially all the business assets of six residential aged care homes from Anglicare SA Ltd ( AnglicareSA ): AnglicareSA Grange AnglicareSA Trott Park AnglicareSA Elizabeth East AnglicareSA Brompton AnglicareSA Elizabeth – Dutton Court, and AnglicareSA Westbourne Park ( Proposed Acquisition ). Estia is a registered provider of residential care services. Estia and its wholly owned subsidiaries currently operate over 90 residential aged care homes across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia. Estia is currently majority owned by Bain Capital Private Equity. On 22 July 2026, the ACCC determined under section 51ABZE(1) that the acquisition of Estia by a Stonepeak-led consortium may be put into effect, see https://www.accc.gov.au/public-registers/mergers-and-acquisitions-registers/acquisitions-register/stonepeak-led-consortium-estia-health. AnglicareSA is an independent not-for-profit organisation and a registered provider of care services. It operates six residential aged care homes in Adelaide (being the homes Estia Health proposes to acquire). AnglicareSA also provides other services to the community, including community aged care, NDIS services, foster care, mental health, financial counselling, community housing and support for vulnerable individuals. AnglicareSA intends to continue providing these other services following the Proposed Acquisition. Estia and AnglicareSA both operate residential aged care homes in certain areas within, and in the outer suburbs of, metropolitan Adelaide.
