Acrow Limited proposes to acquire Ausgroup Industrial Services (Qld) Pty Ltd via a share acquisition of its holding company, Radbyrn Pty Limited. This transaction involves two suppliers of industrial access solutions and commercial scaffolding, primarily to industrial and mining customers in Queensland's Mackay and Bowen Basin region.
Acrow Limited (Acrow) proposes to acquire Ausgroup Industrial Services (Qld) Pty Ltd (Ausgroup), through the acquisition of all the issued shares in Ausgroup’s 100% holding company, Radbyrn Pty Limited (the Acquisition). Acrow is an ASX-listed supplier of formwork, industrial access solutions and commercial scaffolding. It has operations around Australia, including in the Mackay and Bowen Basin region of Queensland, where it operates under the MI Scaffold brand. Acrow also operates scaffolding businesses in Townsville (under the Benchmark Scaffolding brand) and Gladstone (under the Acrow brand). Ausgroup supplies industrial access solutions and commercial scaffolding, paint and blast services and engineering services in the Mackay and Bowen Basin region. It primarily supplies services to industrial and mining customers. Acrow and Ausgroup both supply industrial access solutions and commercial scaffolding in the Mackay and Bowen Basin region.
The ACCC has prepared a questionnaire on the Acquisition. Submissions or information in response to the questionnaire should be provided by 24 July 2026 via email to mergers@accc.gov.au with the title Submission re: Acrow - Ausgroup Industrial Services. The ACCC's ability to give detailed consideration to submissions received after this time may be limited.
