SCUR-Alpha 2068 GmbH ( SCUR ), an indirect subsidiary of Lone Star Fund XIII, L.P. and its affiliates ( Lone Star Fund XIII ), proposes to acquire ContiTech Deutschland GmbH ( ContiTech ) (the Acquisition ). Lone Star Fund XIII is one of the private equity funds organised and advised by Lone Star Global Acquisitions Ltd ( Lone Star ). XSYS Germany GmbH ( XSYS ) is a Lone Star funds-controlled portfolio company, headquartered in Germany, active in the supply of solutions for the commercial printing industry. In Australia, XSYS is active in the supply of analogue printing plates mounting hardware, comprising sleeves, adapters and cylinders used to mount analogue printing plates. ContiTech is a provider of engineered rubber, thermoplastic and fabric technology solutions to customers in a range of industries. This includes the supply of analogue printing plates mounting hardware. ContiTech operates in Australia through its Australian subsidiaries ContiTech Australia Pty., Ltd, Veyance Technologies Australia Pty., Ltd, and Vulcanite Holdings Pty Ltd (and its operating subsidiary Vulcanite Pty. Ltd).
