Altano is an equine veterinary platform operating clinics across 15 countries, including 10 locations in Australia. This is an indirect acquisition of control.
SCUR-Alpha 2081 GmbH (to be renamed Galileo BidCo GmbH), is an indirect majority-owned subsidiary of Bridgepoint Europe VIII Investments S.à r.l., which is held on behalf of certain funds managed by Bridgepoint Advisers UK Limited ( Bridgepoint ). Bridgepoint is a private asset manager, investing across private equity, infrastructure, private credit and secondaries. Bridgepoint is 100% indirectly controlled by Bridgepoint Group plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: BPT). Altano is an equine veterinary platform founded in 2017. It operates a network of veterinary clinics and practices across 15 countries, including 10 locations in Australia, with a primary focus on equine veterinary services. Bridgepoint Group plc, via SCUR-Alpha 2081 GmbH, proposes to indirectly acquire control of Altano International GmbH ( Altano ). Following completion, Bridgepoint Group plc will indirectly hold an approximately 85 -95% interest in, and have sole control over, Altano (the Acquisition ).
