Autopact operates motor-vehicle dealerships, and the land is currently leased to an Autopact entity for a dealership.
Autopact Property No. 3 Pty Ltd (the Acquirer ), a wholly owned subsidiary of Autopact Holdings Pty Ltd (together, Autopact ), proposes to acquire the 100% freehold interest in the commercial land at 59–71 Victoria Street, 10 North Street, 23 Bruce Avenue and 49 Victoria Street, Dubbo NSW (the Properties ) from Peter Terry Nominees Pty Ltd (the Vendor ), by way of a contract of sale of land. Autopact operates motor-vehicle dealerships across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, supplying new and used vehicles, finance and insurance, and servicing and parts. The Vendor is a land-holding entity that does not itself supply vehicles, finance, servicing or parts, and does not operate any motor-vehicle dealership. The Properties are currently leased to PT Western Plains Pty Ltd, another wholly owned subsidiary of Autopact Holdings Pty Ltd and connected entity of the Acquirer, which operates a motor-vehicle dealership at the Properties. The current lease has a termination date of October 2026, with an option to extend to 2031.
