BMD Fleet Pty Ltd (BMD Group) proposes to acquire the remaining shares of East Coast Commercial Vehicles from BBMG Investments Pty Ltd and CRANEFM Investments Pty Ltd. This share acquisition will give BMD Fleet 100% ownership of the Queensland-based dealerships, which supply new and used commercial vehicles and related services.
BMD Fleet Pty Ltd ( BMD Fleet ), an existing shareholder in East Coast Commercial Vehicles, proposes to acquire the remaining shares of East Coast Commercial Vehicles held by BBMG Investments Pty Ltd ( BBMG ) and CRANEFM Investments Pty Ltd ( Crane ) (the Acquisition ). Following the Acquisition, BMD Fleet will hold 100% of the shares in East Coast Commercial Vehicles. East Coast Commercial Vehicles is the trading name of East Coast Commercial Vehicle Disposals Pty Ltd ( ECCVD ) and East Coast Commercial Vehicles (Gold Coast) Pty Ltd ( ECCGC ), which supply new and used commercial vehicles and certain related services (such as vehicle servicing and finance) from two motor vehicle dealerships located at 1169-1175 Beaudesert Road, Acacia Ridge, Queensland and 277 Scottsdale Drive, Robina, Queensland respectively. BMD Fleet is an Australian company within the broader BMD Group, whose principal activities are in civil construction and infrastructure. BMD Fleet manages the vehicle fleet operated across the BMD Group. BMD Constructions Pty Limited, a related entity to BMD Fleet within the BMD Group, holds a motor vehicle dealership licence and operates a small used vehicle dealership, Better Motor Deals, from its premises located at 7 Bingera Dr, Port of Brisbane QLD 4178. Better Motor Deals supplies the BMD Group's end-of-life (3–4-year-old) sports utility vehicles ( SUV s) and light commercial vehicles ( LCV s). BBMG is a member of the Bartons Automotive Group, a Brisbane based automotive dealership group engaged in the retail sale and servicing of new and used vehicles (and ancillary services) in Brisbane's eastern suburbs of Wynnum and Capalaba. Crane holds a minority ownership interest in ECCVD and ECCGC.
