Carlyle Group Inc., through Crystal Holdings Korea Co., Ltd., will acquire sole control of South Korean CHN Group from Kyung Eun Lee, Sang Hoon Joung, Whi Chul Joung, and Seonghoon Jeong. CHN Group manufactures and supplies home appliances, including water purifiers and filters, globally and to Australian vendors. This is an acquisition of sole control.

CHN Group consists of Chung Ho Nais Co., Ltd., MCM Co., Ltd., Microfilter Co., Ltd. and their respective subsidiaries. In Australia, CHN Group supplies its products to vendors on a business-to-business basis only. CHN Group has subsidiaries in the People's Republic of China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Mexico. Carlyle, through a special acquisition vehicle, Crystal Holdings Korea Co., Ltd., will acquire sole control over the CHN Group from Kyung Eun Lee, Sang Hoon Joung, Whi Chul Joung, and Seonghoon Jeong.
