New merger reform FAQs available
The ACCC has published an updated version of the frequently asked questions (FAQs) about merger reform document.
Updates Include:
- Processing notifications and waiver applications during the holiday period
- When the notification fee should be paid
- When an acquisition may be connected with Australia
- How the merger reforms apply to superannuation funds and successor fund transfers
- How to respond to questions on the form via uploaded documents in the portal
Note: "These FAQs may continue to be amended from time to time to reflect the experience during the transition period." The information reflects the ACCC's views at publication but is "indicative only and may change over time."
