Weekly ACCC Deal Digest (8 July 2026)

11 new, 21 approved, 1 rejected and 29 pending deals with ACCC up to 7th July

Editor note: The ACCC’s new FAQ suggests PE funds need to think more broadly about disclosure when seeking notification waivers. The ACCC appears to expect disclosure of controlled portfolio companies across related funds or strategies where they operate in the same or similar markets, even if they are not strictly “connected entities” (see ACCC FAQ and HSFK Note). For our PE and corporate adviser readers: are you seeing a settled approach emerge, or is this still being worked through deal by deal?
