Accenture Venture Holdings, an indirect subsidiary of Accenture plc, proposes to acquire approximately 80% to 90% of the shares in Dragos, Inc., a global supplier of Operational Technology cybersecurity and threat detection technology, including its subsidiary Phosphorus Security LLC. This share acquisition expands Accenture's professional services and cybersecurity offerings.
Accenture Venture Holdings, LLC, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Accenture plc (together with its direct and indirect subsidiaries, Accenture ) proposes to acquire approximately 80% to 90% of the shares in (and control of) Dragos, Inc. (together with its direct and indirect subsidiaries, including Phosphorus Security LLC ( Phosphorus ), Dragos ). Accenture is a global professional services company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. It provides a broad range of services across strategy, consulting, digital, technology, and operations designed to assist public and private clients. Accenture provides a range of services in the cybersecurity space from strategic planning through managed security services, operating as both a strategic consultant and systems integrator, working with technology solution partners to offer full-service offerings to customers. Dragos is a global supplier of Operational Technology ( OT ) cybersecurity asset discovery, vulnerability management and threat detection technology, as well as threat intelligence and related services. Its subsidiary, Phosphorus, provides extended Internet of Things ( xIoT ) device discovery, vulnerability identification and remediation technology. Dragos is headquartered in the US. Accenture has separately notified its proposed acquisition of runZero, Inc (MN-60031), which the ACCC is also assessing.
The ACCC has prepared a questionnaire on the Acquisition.
