Coles Supermarkets Australia Pty Ltd will acquire a leasehold interest for a new 2,808 sqm supermarket in Emerald, QLD, from Boulder Capital Investments Pty Ltd. Boulder Capital Investments Pty Ltd ( Lessor ) is an Australian private investment company focused on providing debt and equity into property developments and real estate assets. Coles Supermarkets Australia Pty Ltd has signed a letter of offer with the Lessor in respect of a proposed lease of a Coles supermarket store to be constructed within a new shopping centre at Lot 3 & 4, Capricorn Highway, Emerald QLD 4720 (the Acquisition ). The new lease is expected to commence in late 2027. The new shopping centre will comprise of the proposed Coles supermarket of 2,808 sqm SFA, a 6-bay Click & Collect drive through, home delivery facilities, 1,200 m 2 speciality retail and car parking. Coles currently operates a supermarket in Emerald at Clermont St & Opal Street, Emerald QLD 4720, around 1km away. The existing store will close as part of the transition to the new supermarket.
