The target, Barwon Investment Partners Pty Ltd ( Barwon ), is an Australian alternatives fund manager focusing on healthcare property, real estate credit and private equity. Barwon has one office in Sydney. The parties supply investment management services, which involves the professional and customised management of various financial assets on behalf of institutional and wholesale investor clients. Hillhouse proposes to acquire a majority interest in Barwon.
