Henkel will acquire all shares in ATP Adhesives Systems Group from ATP Adhesives Holdings LP, controlled by Arsenal Capital Partners affiliates. This share acquisition in the adhesives manufacturing industry combines Henkel's non-water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes with ATP's water-based PSA tapes, expanding their offerings.

KGaA ( Henkel ) proposes to acquire all the shares in and sole control of ATP Adhesives Systems Group GmbH (together with subsidiaries, ATP ) from ATP Adhesives Holdings LP, which pre-transaction is controlled by affiliates of Arsenal Capital Partners. Henkel is a German public company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business unit is a producer of adhesives, sealants and functional coatings for industrial customers, as well as for consumers and craftsmen. Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies brands available in Australia include Loctite, Teroson, Bonderite, Clingtape, Technomelt, Aquence and Pritt. In Australia, Henkel supplies tapes and labels ( T&L ) adhesives and non-water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive ( PSA ) tapes. ATP is a private company headquartered in Wollerau, Switzerland. ATP manufactures PSA tapes for various end uses. In Australia, ATP supplies only water-based PSA tapes.
